Visit our educational classes and displays inside Line Creek Community Center.

Artifacts from Line Creek Valley and beyond will be displayed,
   including our 1000-year-old American Indian Cooking pot and a diorama of an
   ancient burial mound.

Reta Jo Mitchell will be there to share her map of American Indian Placenames.
The film, Legacy of the Moundbuilders, will be showing all day in the
   Community Center Lobby.
Nancy Blue will share her knowledge of genealogy in the class:
   “Am I Indian?  Who Was My Grandpa?”
Gil Nichols, historian, will discuss “History of the Mound Building Periods.”
William Lyon, Anthropologist and Author, will discuss“American Indian Medicine Powers.”
Gayl Edmunds, will share his knowledge of American Indian spirituality
   in his class, “Taking Our Place in the Sacred Hoop.”

Bert Wetherill, Archaeologist, will describe the cultures and tribes who once lived
   in the area in his talk entitled,“Who Used to Live in Your Backyard?” (Saturday only)

Admission $2.  Children under 12 free.
